Books have always been a doorway to multiple worlds. The words on the pages of books have the power to transport you to another country, another time, another space all through the magic of words. 

Our children who come from low-income and vulnerable backgrounds very often are unable to have these experiences, since they do not have access to such books, especially those that are not academic.

Let’s READ is United Way Mumbai’s initiative that aims to nurture the love for books and reading among such children. 

The best part about these books is that they are specifically curated by us from various Indian publishers, which ensures that the books are culturally relevant and the stories and characters are something that the children can relate to.
