Fifteen years ago, my parents took me to Ummeed Child Development Center to meet my developmental pediatrician Vibha Aunty. She told them I have autism. After that, I remember my parents taking me to Ummeed for therapy, where I learned lots of new things. I was also part of a handwriting group with my twin sister Gayatri, and I remember learning about Mr. Good and Mr. Bad Handwriting! I also remember sitting on swings and jumping up and down on the trampoline in the OT room. Later, I started meeting my counsellor Pravin Uncle at Ummeed. He helped me understand my feelings, and also prepared me for Gayatri going to college. 

I was lucky to be able to go to Ummeed. Now I want to help other children with autism go to Ummeed too. 

I am raising money by running 10 km in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024. I train with my coaches and friends Rustom and Niki. They are helping me to run faster and faster. Rustom says that I run like a horse!
