Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024

"How I wish we had detected sooner!" This is all that is left once you've lost your loved one to Cancer. To lose someone close can alter your life forever. My fundraiser is in memory of every life lost to the gruesome ordeal of Cancer. Cancer is a devastating disease, but it is not unbeatable. Early detection and treatment play a pivotal role in it. Cancer is also not a rich man's disease, and the cost of treatment can be draining. The Indian Cancer Society (ICS) is doing a phenomenal job of creating nationwide awareness of cancer, its risk factors, preventive measures, encouraging regular checkups, treatment options and survivorship. The early detection camps are carried out through cancer detection centers and mobile cancer detection camps across India, especially for the underprivileged. ICS is instrumental in providing funds for the treatment of cancer for poor cancer patients. Additionally, ICS provides support during and after treatment to poor cancer patients through accommodation, rehabilitation, and survivor support groups. I've hence signed up with the Indian Cancer Society as their Change Maker Runner, to raise funds towards the great work they're doing. Join me in my effort towards the cause of giving individuals and families a better chance to fight the trauma! Every drop makes the ocean. Thank you for your generous support!

About Me
"Motivation is found when purpose is discovered." For the past 6 years, I have been a runner with a mission - to support the Indian Cancer Society (ICS) and raise funds for cancer awareness, research and treatment. I first started running the Tata Mumbai Marathon in memory of a parent who was lost to cancer. I chose to support ICS after I was inspired by their outreach programs and campaigns. By running marathons and sharing my journey, I hope to inspire others to live healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about early cancer detection, treatment and mental suport for caregivers. Tata Mumbai Marathon is now an annual ritual, and I'm super excited to have found my purpose!
