Support My Campaign
Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024

I am Ashutosh Raote, and I have cerebral palsy, which causes difficulties in movement, vision, hearing, speech & language and perception all of which affect learning. However 50% of persons with cerebral palsy have average or above average intelligence. Our condition has been described as “an intelligent mind caught in a disobedient body”
I, as a person with multiple disability, need support from a Big Team! A physiotherapist strengthens my muscles so that I can stand, an occupational therapist who can help me eat, a psychologist to help me keep happy, social workers to reach out to more children like me to make my friend circle big, and my special educator as I have special difficulties, and vocational trainers to help me learn skills to earn a livelihood.

I am determined to live my life to the fullest and fulfil my potential. And with your help, I can do just that. ADAPT provides services available that could greatly improve my quality of life.  I love ADAPT, as all these services are provided to me and my friends here . My parents and family have also been counselled and trained to make my life easier. Love comes for free but this care costs money!
I am asking for your help in raising the funds needed to allow me to access these services and improve my life. With your support, I can receive the care and support I need to live independently, attend college, and achieve my dreams. Your support will not only help me, but others living with disabilities as well.
You can help me through the TATA Mumbai Marathon, where I am participating in the Champions with Disability race.

Will you support me, and my friends by donating through the link given below? Your contribution will support ADAPT’s efforts at providing facilities to impact even more lives. I also request you to share my campaign with your friends, colleagues and family.
