Today, I want to share with you a cause that is incredibly close to my heart, and I invite you to join me in making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

I am currently running a fundraiser for The HEAL Foundation. The work they do is nothing short of inspiring, and I believe that together, we can contribute to their mission and bring about real change in our community and beyond.

In India, child sexual abuse (CSA) happens at such a high rate that it may be safe to call it an epidemic. According to the widely cited 2007 study by Ministry of Women and Child Development, 53% of children in India experience one or more forms of sexual abuse before they turn 18 years old. To this end, HEAL emerged as a project which envisions a community that upholds, understands and values the rights of its children by protecting them from sexual abuse. Their mission is to prevent sexual abuse of children through the tool of education. They aim to enable all involved to understand, recognize, learn preventive methods and respond sensitively to child sexual abuse.

However, to continue their vital work, HEAL relies on the generosity of individuals like you and me. Our contributions, no matter the size, can help them reach their goals and touch the lives of even more people.
