Child sexual abuse (CSA) occurs so frequently in India that it could be appropriate to refer to it as an epidemic. The widely recognised Ministry of Women and Child Development research from 2007 found that 53% of Indian children experience one or more types of sexual abuse before they become 18 years old.

In order to combat child sexual abuse, the HEAL (Help Eradicate Abuse through Learning) project was born out of the passion and concern of those who work at The Foundation.Through its work, HEAL makes child sexual abuse (CSA) a problem that must be addressed in communities, schools, and households as well as in state and federal child protection laws. Given that an abuser can be anyone,  HEAL teaches and addresses the importance for people to learn how to spot, stop, and prevent abusive behaviour as well as to comprehend the developmental risks that sexual abuse of children may bring.

In conclusion, all that there is to be said is when you donate money to the HEAL foundation, you help support and educate young children who are the ones that fall victim to one of the most heinous crimes there is, that is child sexual abuse. Every single penny that is donated and all the awareness that is spread is the necessary key to rebuild a society and an environment that is safe for the entire young generation of this country.
