Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024


In India, child sexual abuse (CSA) happens at such a high rate that it may be safe to call it an epidemic. According to the widely cited 2007 study by Ministry of Women and Child Development, 53% of children in India experience one or more forms of sexual abuse before they turn 18 years old.

Sexual abuse is a deeply distressing and pervasive problem that affects countless individuals, leaving physical and emotional scars that can last a lifetime. HEAL Foundation is dedicated to providing a safe space for survivors, offering counseling, therapy, and legal aid, along with education and awareness programs to prevent further instances of abuse.

HEAL's mission is to prevent sexual abuse of children through the tool of education. They  aim to enable all involved to understand, recognize, learn preventive methods and respond sensitively to child sexual abuse.

Your donation will help support their work which revolves around conducting child safety workshops with Teachers and parents. As well as, conducing personal body safety workshop with children from Grade 1 to Grade 10, to teach them about body safety, right names of private body parts, personal space, physical boundaries and safe and unsafe touch. 

A donation of  ₹1000 can help educate 20 children!

The HEAL Foundation
The HEAL Foundation founded by Rahul Bose in 2008, HEAL (Help Eradicate Abuse Through Learning) through the tool of workshops, aims to educate children and adults on how to recognize, prevent and respond to Child Sexual Abuse. HEAL has reached 110,000 children and adults up till 2022.
