Everyone individual has the right to live their life with dignity and respect. Like all fingers are not the same, similarly all individuals are unique and differ from each other. Children with disabilities are God-gifted and are the champions of their own battles! The main vision of Suryoday Trust is that children with intellectual disabilities grow to become socially integrated and functionally independent adults. To make their vision a reality, they have working for the past 12 years. Children with disabilities not only get education but also skill development and vocational training which is essential for employment and can also lead a better life like all of us. We should treat each and every individual with dignity and respect. They should be considered as a part of our society. In the race of life, people with disabilities are often left behind. Everyone has the right to be loved, respected, and to be educated. Disability cannot stop anyone from achieving their dreams!
About Me
My name is Ananya Pani and I’m a grade 11 student at Oberoi International School.
The Tata Mumbai Marathon serves as a platform for me to make a difference in various communities. I am inspired to raise funds for the Suryoday Special Education School, an institute close to my heart, which serves children with special needs. The school is dedicated to providing an inclusive and nurturing environment for children who face unique challenges on their journey to learning and development.
One of the primary reasons driving my desire to raise funds for Suryoday Special Education School is my unwavering commitment to inclusivity. In a world that sometimes overlooks the unique needs of individuals with disabilities, institutions like Suryoday play an essential role in ensuring that every child receives a quality education tailored to their specific requirements. Through my participation in the Tata Mumbai Marathon, I aim to contribute to this vision of a more inclusive and equitable world and wish to inspire others to join this noble cause. The funds raised will be used to improve infrastructure and purchase specialized teaching materials, adaptive technology, and learning aids tailored to the student’s needs. Your contribution will support speech therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling services which are essential for the student’s development. The funds will also help provide scholarships to children who truly need them and give them a chance for a brighter future. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will have a profound impact on the lives of our students.
