The P.R.I.D.E India is a non-governmental organisation established in 1982 with the aim of improving the lives of marginalised rural and urban communities. The organisation takes an integrated approach to promote holistic development, focusing on areas such as :
Education, Livelihood, Health & sanitation, Holistic Rural Development
Women, Children, Tribal communities and marginalized groups are of key to PRIDE India's interventions.
Registered under the Societies Registration Act, The P.R.I.D.E India operates across seven districts of Maharashtra, and two districts of Karnataka benefiting over 3 Million individuals across 1040 villages and Urban slums. The organization aligns its work with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and emphasizes the importance of ensuring healthy lives, access to sanitation, quality education, gender equality, and productive employment. P.R.I.D.E India believes in collaborating with the government and allied agencies to bring greater change.
