About Me
The P.R.I.D.E India is a non-governmental organisation established in 1982 with the aim of improving the lives of marginalised rural and urban communities. The organisation takes an integrated approach to promote holistic development, focusing on areas such as : Education, Livelihood, Health & sanitation, Holistic Rural Development Women, Children, Tribal communities and marginalized groups are of key to PRIDE India's interventions. Registered under the Societies Registration Act, The P.R.I.D.E India operates across seven districts of Maharashtra, and two districts of Karnataka benefiting over 3 Million individuals across 1040 villages and Urban slums. The organization aligns its work with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and emphasizes the importance of ensuring healthy lives, access to sanitation, quality education, gender equality, and productive employment. P.R.I.D.E India believes in collaborating with the government and allied agencies to bring greater change.

PRIDE India is 40-year-old non-profit organization is committed to bringing about sustainable change in marginalized communities living in both rural and urban poverty. Our mission is to impact the lives of marginalized communities by helping them lead lives filled with dignity and self-respect. Our organization adopts an integrated approach with an emphasis on Education, Health and sanitation, Livelihood & Life Skill, Integrated Rural Development, and Disaster Relief & Rehabilitation to promote the holistic development of these communities. Since our inception, we have been able to touch the lives of 29.5 lakh beneficiaries across 1100 villages and slum communities in 9 districts spanning over 2 states.
