Adhar works on parents’ contribution (60%) & society’s support (40%). The Covid Pandemic has impacted all including Adhar where the parents’ contributions are diminishing due to the loss of income & aging parents’ scenario. This puts more burdens on the society’s support. Though Adhar did not shut even for one minute all throughout the pandemic, it’s added to its costs too much. The financials are affected badly as expenses are fixed and donations have dropped. Now it's time to accept the things and get back, Get Back on Track and run with full vigour towards our goal. You also need to #GetBackOoTrack & take your life to new normal. As an NGO we need your help bridge the widening deficit. Request you to create a fundraiser page for ADHAR & help us for Lifelong care of specially-abled adults

"Adhar is the first of its kind, taking life-long care of intellectually disabled adults. They are doing superb work in this space, and are currently taking care of nearly 350 special adults, out of their 2 facilities, in Badlapur & Nashik, with a third coming up soon in Satara. Now Adhar is also building a special old-age home for Parents of such adults in Nashik, since they have a peculiar issue of no one to take care of them in their twilight years. Interestingly, Adhar is not supported by any Govt aid or grant and is run solely on parent contributions and donations. I believe Adhar is doing really valuable work in this space that is otherwise neglected or ignored by society and am glad to be donating for this noble cause. I am honoured to be running this TMM 2024 for Adhar's cause and look forward to more people giving attention and contributions to them to help them continue and further the great work that they are silently doing. All donations received in India are eligible for tax exemption under section 80G of Income Tax Act, India."

"Having seen intellectually challenged kids, I have always wondered what could be done to make life a little easier on both the person and their family. When Ajay Mehta introduced us to Adhar I was truly impressed with the work done. Cannot think of a better cause to donate for. "
