The challenges our communities face are complex and have persisted for generations. Early on in our work, we recognized that they are too great for a single person or organization to solve on their own. Finding and implementing long term solutions to these complex social issues requires a collective effort and UWM at its core, plays the role of galvanizing all key stakeholders in a structured way. We drive social change. And we bind together the different stakeholders needed to create it.
By working collaboratively with stakeholders that include, corporate partners, NGO partners, government institutions and individuals we are able to mobilize meaningful action, and advocate for lasting social change. This is our collective impact model. It requires everyone, including you with your set of expertise and resources to contribute to its success.
United Way Mumbai collaborates with a network of 500+ NGOs working across the country on diverse programmes. This network helps us ensure last mile reach and programme efficiency. We partner actively with over 350 of these NGOs on an annual basis through grants, workplace giving campaigns, volunteering projects, Tata Mumbai Marathon and other fundraising platforms, as well as knowledge and resource sharing sessions.
If you represent a registered non profit organisation, having been in operation for more than 3 years, we would love to learn more. Each of our partner NGOs is required to undergo a thorough due diligence process and renew the same on an annual basis.
