Who We Are

For 8 years THE HANDS OF HOPE FOUNDATION (THOHF), has fought a silent pandemic eating away at the fabric of society’s well-being - Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). Reportedly, more than 50% of children have experienced some form of CSA, with debilitating effects even as an adult, a fact that was solidified by an online research study done by THOHF in 2020.

Our mission to help children recognize, prevent, and be protected from CSA through education & awareness and to harness partnerships in creating safe spaces for our children, has been executed through impactful projects and campaigns; the prominent ones being:
- 2018-A Campaign for highlighting CSA on male children, led to an amendment in the P.O.C.S.O legislation for child rights.
- End the Isolation, A photo campaign to delineate adult survivors.
- Kalaghoda Art Festival-Changing mindsets through an Art installation.
- Lockdown on CSA – powerful messaging through Bollywood filmstars during the 2020 lockdown
- The Hope Run – A virtual marathon uniting runners in the fight against CSA
- Project Force Multiplier – empowering local communities to fight CSA through proper training & edutainment
- Bol Do –street play on CSA creating community awareness and triggering difficult dialogues amongst the general society
