Nirmaan Organization (nirmaan.org) is a pioneering non-profit, dedicated to transforming lives and building a better tomorrow. Established in 2005 by a group of passionate BITS Pilani students to #GiveBack to the nation, Nirmaan has since impacted over 3 million lives across 25 states in India. Our work spans across diverse communities, including children, women, youth, farmers, persons with disabilities, and the LGBTQ+ community.
Nirmaan believes that collective action drives impactful change, and we are committed to addressing some of India’s most pressing social issues through sustainable solutions. Whether it’s providing quality education to underprivileged children, equipping youth with skills for better opportunities, or empowering women to become self-reliant, our holistic approach is making a profound difference in communities.
At its core, Nirmaan is more than just an organization, it is a movement fueled by the passion to uplift the marginalized, offering them the tools to break the cycle of poverty and build better futures. Through strategic partnerships with individuals, communities, corporates, and governments, Nirmaan continues to inspire change and foster hope. Your support is not just a donation; it’s an investment in a stronger, more equitable India. Together, let’s build a brighter future—brick by empowering brick.
Appeal
At Nirmaan, we believe that education is the key to creating a brighter future, especially for the marginalized children and youth we serve. Your support helps us bridge the educational gap by providing access to quality education, scholarships, and essential resources.
We are raising funds for the following critical initiatives:
1. Back to School Kits: In response to the recent Wayanad landslides and floods, many students lost their educational materials. We are partnering with local authorities to provide essential school kits, including bags, stationery, and electronic devices, to help these students resume their studies.
2. Digital Lab Program: This initiative aims to empower government high school students from socio-economically marginalized communities by setting up Digital Labs. These labs provide a motivating environment where students can gain essential digital literacy skills, preparing them for future opportunities.
3. Scholarship and Mentorship Program: We offer scholarships and mentorship to deserving students from disadvantaged families, enabling them to pursue higher education. This program includes financial support, training, and mentorship to guide students toward successful careers.
The funds raised through this marathon will directly impact these programs, helping us create a more equitable future for all.
