People for Animals Wildlife Rescue & Conservation Centre has been serving urban wildlife for the last 27 years. Located in Bangalore South, our organisation has been instrumental in ensuring the welfare of over 41,500 wildlife from 226 species of the city’s wild animals – from rescue, treatment, rehabilitation, to release.
We are dedicated to protecting wildlife and their natural habitats through impactful conservation efforts. Our mission is driven by the urgent need to combat the threats facing our planet's wildlife, from habitat loss and poaching to climate change.
Our expansive centre offers a state-of-the-art clinical and rehabilitation facilities, and our expert team of veterinarians employ advanced medical procedures such as physio laser, acupuncture physiotherapy, and feather implantation for injured birds, among many others. We strive to rescue animals from even the direst situations, identify any possible ailments, and restore them to near-perfect health. Our dedicated duty team is ever prepared to respond to animals in need, and our rescue facilities including animal ambulances help ensure that no emergency goes unattended to.
We are also dedicated to community outreach and public awareness in order to build better human-environment relationships, which is made possible through our webinars and awareness programmes hosted for educational institutions and organisations. In all the endeavours that we have branched out to over the years of operation, our mission has remained to strive for animal welfare and environmental protection to create a sustainable world for all forms of life
