Founded in 2009, DATRI is India’s largest blood stem cell registry, addressing the urgent need for life-saving blood stem cell transplants for patients with blood disorders like leukemia, lymphoma, and thalassemia. Despite the growing number of 5 lakh registered donors, the odds of finding a perfect match remain 1 in a 10,000, leaving over 2,500 patients, including many children, waiting desperately for a chance at life.

Every day, 40 adults in India are diagnosed with fatal blood disorders, and 10,000 children are born with Thalassemia annually. Without a suitable donor, these patients face the harsh reality of ineffective treatments and deteriorating health. Our mission is to increase the number of registered donors and raise awareness about the importance of stem cell donation.
