Appeal

Close to 70 million underprivileged adolescents in India are the first in their families to complete school, yet they lack access to quality career guidance to fulfill their aspirations. This absence often leads to disinterest in further education and increased dropout rates. Why should these young people not have the same opportunities as their more privileged peers? Why can't they achieve their dream careers?

We earnestly invite you to support Antarang at the Tata Mumbai Marathon, helping these youth to achieve their career dreams! Your contribution will fund Antarang Foundation's comprehensive career program for underprivileged youth. Our program aims to:

1)Guide students from grades 9-12 in building career aspirations.
2)Raise awareness of the diverse career opportunities available today.
3)Help youth devise a clear path to achieve their goals.

Our program is delivered by trained career facilitators through a series of engaging activities and experiences in government and low-income private schools. These facilitators, trained by Antarang Foundation, visit schools to deliver the program directly in classrooms. They also provide personalized counseling for students and their parents using individual career counseling reports.

How will underprivileged youth benefit from your support?

Students will graduate from our program with a clear understanding of their interests, aptitudes, and the realities of the job market. They will be aware of available and emerging career opportunities and will aspire to careers of their choice.

The program aims to reduce dropouts and foster informed transitions into entrepreneurship, education, employment, or technical training (EEET).

We aim to raise INR 20 lakhs through the Mumbai Marathon to empower ~ 2,000 students from grades 9-12 to achieve their dream careers.

You can help thousands of underprivileged students in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Nagaland, Haryana, and Goa to plan and reach their dream careers!
