Appeal
Empowering Girls: Seva Sadan Society’s Residential Home
Seva Sadan Society’s Residential Home offers a safe and supportive environment for 87 girls, ages 8-18, prioritizing their physical, emotional, and educational well-being. Our goal is to provide stability, care, and opportunities that empower these girls to overcome adversity and create a better future.
We offer academic support through tutoring with a 1:5 student-tutor ratio. New admissions undergo IQ testing, and struggling students receive targeted support, and remedial education.
Two counselors provide emotional support, resilience training, and life skills guidance. The girls receive balanced meals, regular medical check-ups, and participate in physical training, promoting both physical and mental health.
To help senior girls explore career paths, we offer professional career counseling sessions. Extra-curricular activities, including art, dance, and physical education, enrich their lives, alongside annual picnics and celebrations. The House system fosters discipline, rewarding good hygiene, punctuality, and respect.
We prioritize the safety and well-being of the girls in our care. Following recent upgrades to our fire safety systems, we plan to add a fire escape and refurbish the society’s compound walls for enhanced security.
