Since 1964, SOFOSH has been working with integrity, dedication and professionalism for the betterment and rehabilitation of family deprived, destitute and specially abled children.
‘TARA’ is a home of 53 family deprived, destitute and specially abled children of ages ranging from 6 years to 25 years since in 1999.
SOFOSH is focusing on the objective of overall development of destitute and family deprived children including specially abled children. This project provides various therapies (Physio, Speech, Music, Dance, Physical Education, remedial teaching, various testings, medical intervention as per the need of the individuals under the expert’s guidance and supervision.
Individual Child Care and Education plan is designed as per the need and disability of each child.
Mandakini Dravid Development centre looks after the physical, intellectual and overall developmental issues of 21 specially abled children since April 2022.

To run above activities, requires substantial financial support. Your help will encourage us to work towards social and economic reform in order to support the dignity of every child and individual in our society. We are careful about spending every bit that we receive. Our team does elaborate work to identify areas that need attention, and our spending is based on this. We have a discipline on this subject maintain proper records. All SOFOSH programmes are funded entirely by voluntary donations. Our esteemed donors come from all walks of life, Individuals, Corporates, Trusts, Organizations, etc. Without the generosity of the people at large SOFOSH would not have been where it is now. Corporates donate as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.
