MUSKAAN Sharing Smiles is a NGO initiated in the year 2004 as an independent organization mainly focusing on educating the underprivileged children residing in Mahakali, Andheri East. Muskaan Sharing Smiles is a Public Trust, registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 and have approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs. We have our Registration Certification no. F-­?27835 (M) as well as our Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, (FCRA) Certification no. 083781558.
The NGO operates from a Centre at Mahakali, Andheri East. The Education of the children enrolled at the Centre is sponsored by the NGO covering school fees, books and stationery and other study material. The Children are also provided one balanced meal at the Centre and are supported for their education while at the Centre.
Muskaan Sharing Smiles is now close to two decades old. Longer in duration, richer in experience. We are a strong, compliance friendly and transparent not for profit institution with our primary focus being to nurture, educate and enhance the quality of life of Children, in the lesser privileged Geographies wherever we can create an outreach.
Muskaan Sharing Smiles, through its programs; Sparsh, Vidyarambh and Enterprise, have in all these years toiled to light up the faces of underprivileged children. We work small but deeply focused. Changing the lives of around 30 children every year.
We are delighted to share with you that 26 students comprising nine batches of tiny tots, who started their journey with us in 2004, have completed their Tenth standard milestone. Proud to say that 18 of the students scored distinction. Kids who started with us have also graduated and are employed with various organizations including Marsh McLennan Global Services, Slash RTC, Ampa Orthodontic, Lumina Dramatics and Blue Dart.
At Muskaan Sharing Smiles, we take care of all possible needs of the children for their healthy growth, which is day care, food, their studies, education in school and life skills, which eventually helps find their feet in the competitive world. We emphasize on their security and safety at the Centre.
Skill development and education aside, we also strive to provide them with emotional security and mental strength, a home away from home in the absence of their own siblings and family being unable to service these needs. Most of the ‘Muskaan Sharing Smiles’ children and the alumni, are with us either because their parents cannot afford to educate them, parents are working and trying to make both ends meet or come from broken homes where a better livelihood is missing.

Appeal

We fervently appeal to our donors to fund our objective of the NGO organization being Education of Underprivileged children.
The funds raised will be spent as under -
1.School fees for Education of the Children who are enrolled in RJMDS's English school.
2. Funding the text books, note books and other study material of the children.
3. Funding expenses at the Centre covering support for education and providing one balanced meal to the children every day.
