Project Description | Initiated in 2018-19, the Hamara Gaon program aims to create local community ownership of children’s learning and transform the basic educational landscape of a community over a period of 3-5 years. The program aims to help children build strong FLN skills while encouraging parent involvement and creating a learning environment in the communities. Within schools, Pratham employs the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Methodology to achieve improvements in learning levels within a span of 30-40 days. In the community, the program seeks to foster local community ownership of children's learning by collaborating with stakeholders such as mothers, youth, and community members. | |||||||||
