St. Claret Mercy Foundation, established in 2018 as a Section 8 Company, holds 12A, 80G, and CSR registration. Our mission is to serve the last, lost, and least in society. St. Claret Anath Ashram in Badlapur is a compassionate home for dying destitutes, providing complete palliative care for bedridden and terminally ill patients. We also care for specially abled individuals and homeless destitutes from the streets of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) who have no one to care for them.
At the Ashram, we heal both physical and mental wounds through pure expressions of love, ensuring that every resident feels valued and cared for. Each month, we welcome at least 10 new residents while about 5 individuals pass away peacefully.
The Ashram has become a beacon of hope in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, receiving continuous calls from residents who spot non-moving destitutes. Our dedicated team responds swiftly, ensuring these individuals receive the urgent care they need. We diligently complete the necessary processes to bring them to the Ashram, where they can find love, dignity, and a sense of belonging in the last days of there life.
Appeal
I am Fr. Robin Abraham, founder of the St. Claret Mercy Foundation, writing on behalf of Sant Claret Anath Ashram. Our Ashram provides compassionate care for individuals who are mentally ill, bedridden, or in need of palliative care. Known as the Home for Dying Destitutes, we primarily care for those in the final stages of life.
Currently, we are providing care to 175 residents, including elderly individuals, cancer patients, and those suffering from tuberculosis. As the number of residents continues to rise, the demand for resources has increased dramatically. We face significant challenges in meeting the basic needs of our residents, such as hygiene, medical care, and nutrition, due to limited resources.
To continue offering these essential services and ensure the dignity and well-being of those who depend on us, we urgently need your support. Your generous contribution will help us maintain the care and compassion we strive to provide every day.
We humbly ask for your consideration and assistance in supporting our Ashram. Your help will make a profound difference in the lives of those we care for during their final days.
