Appeal
Dear Supporters,
Menstrual hygiene is a critical aspect of women's health, yet millions lack access to proper education and resources. Our awareness program focuses on sustainable menstruation by promoting the use of menstrual cups, an eco-friendly alternative that significantly reduces waste. In India, menstrual waste is a significant environmental concern, with estimates suggesting that around 12 billion sanitary napkins are disposed of each year. This equates to approximately 113,000 tons of waste annually. Most of these products are made from non-biodegradable materials, including plastics and synthetic fibers, which can take hundreds of years to decompose menstrual contributing to environmental pollution, and many of these items are non-biodegradable.
By donating to our initiative, you can help us educate women and girls in underserved communities about the benefits of menstrual cups. Our program provides workshops, distributes menstrual cups, and raises awareness about menstrual hygiene practices. This not only empowers women to manage their periods more effectively but also promotes environmental sustainability by reducing plastic waste.
Your contribution will directly impact lives, ensuring that more women have access to essential knowledge and tools for better menstrual health. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding menstruation, promote sustainable practices, and protect our planet.
Join us in making a difference. Your generosity can help us create a healthier, more sustainable future for women everywhere. Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Falguni Rajput
