Parikrma runs 4 free K-12 schools for 1500 children from the slums of Bangalore. Parikrma follows an end-to-end model, where children enter Kindergarten at 5 and are nurtured until they graduate from high school at 18; they continue to stay under the care of Parikrma even during their college education, through the mentoring and scholarships that Parikrma offers them.
The 360-degree development framework followed at Parikrma covers all aspects of a child’s life, including not only academics, viz a stringent CBSE syllabus and English language curriculum, but also covering other aspects of the child’s life, such as nutrition (3 wholesome meals daily), comprehensive healthcare (physical and mental) and family-care programs to ensure stable home environments.
Education at Parikrma tends to go far beyond just academics and classroom learning. The environment is designed to stimulate critical thinking and children are encouraged to question rather than just accept. Classroom sessions are ten complemented by lectures from eminent personalities in a variety of spheres, so as to get children involved in issues outside the classroom. Extra-curriculars such as sports, art and drama flourish at Parikrma. The children excel at these activities and consistently win accolades at the district, state and even national level.

The United Parikrma Sports Program is our initiative to harness the power of sports in creating a transformative educational experience. It is designed to:
- Identify and nurture talent in Football and Athletics, sports with significant opportunities for scholarships and professional careers.
- Foster a spirit of 'United' teamwork, where students from all our schools come together, embodying diversity and unity.
- Leverage sports as a means of community engagement, bringing together students, families, and local stakeholders in a celebration of youth potential and achievement.
Donors’ support will go towards the following:
- Hiring playgrounds where our athletes can train for 90 minutes 5 days/week
- Purchasing sports gear and equipment
- Hiring coaches who specialize in football and athletics training
- Transport to attend inter-school competitions
