Project DescriptionSt. Jude's provides safe, secure, hygienic housing as well as holistic support and care to needy, out-of-town families with cancer-affected children undergoing treatment in major cities. Children undergoing cancer treatment have low immunity, a low blood count, and weight loss. To be able to withstand harsh, long-term treatment, they require healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals. Here at St. Judes, we provide families with weekly rations and nutritional supplements, as well as utensils and a cooking facility for mothers to prepare all three meals for the family, and a dining facility. The families are also provided day and night transportation facilities; we have ensured that the child arrives at the hospital on time in case of emergency.

St. Judes is committed to and continues to provide psycho-social support to our families through regular counselling and other engaging activities to help them cope with challenging times and develop new skills during their stay at the centres. We make sure that the families learn to coexist in harmony with one another.
