Sujaya Foundation has been bridging the linguistic and digital divide in India, since 2002. The aim of the Foundation is to provide education and employ-ability skills by leveraging technology and incorporating the best pedagogical practices at an elementary, as well as at an advanced Level. Under our 'Empower Youth Program', we provide underprivileged and youth with special abilities, the opportunity to arm themselves with the basic skills required to be gainfully employed in today's competitive world. We train them in Computer Literacy, Digital Literacy, Spoken English, Soft Skills, Work Readiness skills before placing them in Corporate Organisations. Annually we train approximately 1000 youths. We employ qualified, experienced special educators with knowledge of sign language. After training, we provide students with on-the-job training on a stipend, based on the quality/quantity of the work each individual does.
