Poverty’s vicious cycle isn’t just about economic opportunities, it also includes healthcare. This is why I am running the Dream Run at the 2024 Mumbai Marathon in support of the Lupin Human Welfare and Research Foundation (LHWRF). They are working smart and strong to build better and more sustainable opportunities for underserved communities. LHWRF’s Livelihoods program focuses on the economic development of farming communities and the Lives program focuses on bettering health outcomes by improving access to healthcare. It may not be rocket science, but it is life-changing.
