Tata Mumbai Marathon 2024
I always had an affinity towards sports and have taken part in many competitions in my village. I was always put down by others who told me that I was a girl and was not capable of anything. But these comments didn't break me, rather they motivated me to become a police officer. My confidence got a boost when I took part in the Indian Navy Half Marathon, in Mumbai after I associated with Urja. This time I will run the Tata Mumbai marathon representing the cause of "Breaking Gender stereotypes." I along with other women of Urja are participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2023 and would appreciate your support in collecting the amount for myself and my peers. I would appreciate it if I could garner your support so that I and many young women like myself can receive the support, and take steps to stand up for ourselves in the face of injustice and inequality.

About Me
I am Harshada, from Nashik, Maharashtra. I have been associated with Urja to stand on my own feet and fulfill my dreams. Urja has made me a strong, empowered, and independent woman. I received lots of support and love from Urja. My journey at Urja has transformed me to not tolerate any sort of gender discrimination happening around me and my right to live without fear and barriers.
