As per the data by UNICEF, millions of children around the world are denied of basic rights such as safety, health, play and education. They are also deprived of what they need to grow up to be healthy and strong- because they have a disability or live in poverty. Trapped in a cycle of disadvantage, these children are at a heightened risk of disease, hunger, illiteracy and poverty based on the factors outside their control. The health and socioeconomic crises brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic have affected underprivileged children in India. We can choose to change it. No effort is too small or too large to make. The Light of Life Trust For Education is a volunteer organization dedicated to improve educational opportunities for underprivileged children in Marathwada region. To support this cause, I humbly request you all for a small donation. This amount will be used to support the cost of education which includes books, uniform and supplementary classes for five days in a week and weekend workshops in this region.
