In the rural areas of South Gujarat, discrimination against women is rife. Women are often denied access to education and healthcare. Understanding their need, Shrimad Rajchandra Mahila Gruha Udyog was started by Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care to empower these women by providing them employment. Today, it employs over 100 women who produce a range of over 100 products! Several of these women are the sole bread earners in their family, and Shrimad Rajchandra Mahila Gruha Udyog has played a significant role in moving them towards self-reliance and financial independence.
