Based on the data from National Family Health Survey-3, it was found that only 75 percent of the children in the age group 6 to 16 years were attending school. About 14 percent of the children never attended the school and 11 percent dropped out of school for various reasons. Light of Life Trust is working to get these students back to school. We all need to be together to empower the future of our country. Donate generously for the cause!!! School Empowerment Program (SEP): To address the issue of school dropout organization initiated SEP in year 2013 with 6 schools, 67 teachers and 970 student in Uran Taluka. Now working with 11 secondary schools 156 teachers and 4995 students. Total 55 villages covered in Uran. Objectives of program: To enhance teachers' capacity to ensure the quality of education To increase the active participation of all stakeholders To explore the possibility of need based intervention in schools Advocacy to address key issues that affect education. Impact of SEP: Teachers build their thought process and started new activities to improve quality education. Schools plan different events for enhance students capacities. Schools are organizing activities for increasing parent’s participation for student’s development. School management committee actively working for development of schools Organized Mega event “Shikshanmahotsav” and avail platform for teachers to express their hidden talent.

Worked with Students, Parents, Community, School Teachers & School Management to carry the vision of organization while working in all projects of organization.
