Stop The Spread supported by The Coca-Cola Foundation aims to break the chain of infection by creating awareness on COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour, facilitating vaccinations and strengthening existing vaccination centers in some of the worst affected districts in the country. The second wave of COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on the healthcare infrastructure, especially in rural and low-income communities. Lack of access to verified information and the spread of misinformation has caused an alarming rise in vaccine hesitancy levels and flouting of lockdown restrictions across the country. Slowing down the spread of the virus begins with being vaccinated while simultaneously following the safety protocols in place for the same. This campaign is undertaking a series of activities such as one-to-one health enquiries, mass awareness sessions, distribution of IEC material and registration and transportation of beneficiaries to vaccination centers.

Stop the Spread is being implemented in 25 districts across 4400 villages and urban communities and aims to benefit 37.4 lakh beneficiaries through mass awareness activities, 50.16 lakh people through 440 upgraded vaccination centers including 8.36 lakh individuals that will benefit from vaccination facilitation.
