Raising Funds For

Close to 70 million less privileged adolescents in India who are the first ones in their family to finish school, do not have any kind of access to quality career support and guidance to help them achieve their aspirations. Resulting in a lack of interest in continuing education and dropping out of school. Why is it that they do not get the same opportunities as their more privileged peers? Why can’t they reach their dream careers?

We humbly appeal you to run for Antarang at the Tata Mumbai Marathon to support these youth to achieve their dream careers! Your contribution will support Antarang Foundation's comprehensive career program for less privileged youth in Mumbai, Pune, Osmanabad, Udaipur, Yamuna Nagar, Nagaland, and Goa. Our program will:
1. Guide young people across grades 9-12 in building career aspirations
2. Facilitate awareness of all the possible careers in today’s world
3. Help youth formulate a path to achieve their goals

The program is delivered by trained career facilitators through a series of activities and experiences in government schools and low-income private schools. These facilitators are trained by Antarang Foundation, and they visit the schools/ colleges to deliver the program to students in the classrooms. As part of the program, the facilitators counsel the students and parents one-on-one with the help of individual career counseling reports.

How will the less privileged youth benefit from your support?

Students will leave the program aware of their Interests, Aptitudes, and Realities, aware of available and emerging career opportunities, and aspire for careers of their choice.

The overall aim of the program is to reduce dropouts and increase informed transitions into EEET (Entrepreneurship, Education, employment, or Technical training).

We aim to raise INR 22.75 lakhs through the Mumbai Marathon to enable 3,500 students from grades 9-12 to reach their dream careers.

You can help thousands of less privileged students in Mumbai, Pune, Osmanabad, Udaipur, Nagaland and Goa to plan and reach their dream careers!
