In determining our projects, we now intend to focus on these key principles:
Our primary concern is with philanthropy, i.e. projects that are targeted towards curing social problems, rather than charity i.e. projects that are looking to meet immediate needs.
We wish to support programs that attempt to be innovative, rather than programs that are already existing and ongoing
Initially, we hope to support new ideas and give them a chance for trial to encourage new ways of thought, as opposed to funding approaches that have already been tried and tested.
