Who We Are
Pallium India for the last 20 years, has been 'demonstrating' quality palliative care through the Trivandrum Institute of Palliative Sciences (TIPS, a WHO collaborating centre on Training and Policy on Access to Pain Relief.) with a ‘Demonstrate, Educate and Facilitate’ (D,E,F) model.
- Demonstrating quality palliative care delivery at TIPS through homecare, In-patient, telehealth and out-patient services including engaging with local communities.
- Educating healthcare and other stakeholders from across the country, and
- Facilitating the provision of palliative care all over India through collaborations with;
--Governments for favourable legislation and policies
--NGOs, private organizations, and communities for developing Palliative Care Centres (PCC).
--Assisting in affordable medicines for pain relief.

Raising Funds For
Pallium India is a non-profit organization that offers free palliative care to thousands of patients in India who suffer from serious illnesses and face end-of-life situations. We support patients and families with compassion and dignity. We also strive to create a model palliative care facility that can inspire other centres across the country and promote palliative care as an essential part of healthcare.
We have reached 96876 beneficiaries and rehabilitated 10898 beneficiaries in Trivandrum district. Through an impact in 28 states and 5 UTs, we have also trained 6771 healthcare workers and other stakeholders and catalysed 108 palliative centres. Our vision is to serve 10 million patients and families by 2030.
