About Me
I started fundraising for NGOs 17 years ago when I participated in the 10K run in Bangalore. In addition to supporting few non-profits mainly in the areas of Education and I have also been fundraising for organisations in the areas of Disability, Women Empowerment and Health. Knowing the NGO teams personally, I feel motivated to support them through this online platform. Raising funds for these NGOs has been a great inspiration for me to run the marathon.
I am happy to share that with your support, I have raised/contributed a total of over Rs. 80 Lacs since 2018, (incl. Rs. 31.5 Lacs in 2025) and became a "Change Leader" in this platform.
I look forward to achieving this year's target and complete my marathon with my personal best.
Appeal
In my seventh Tata Mumbai Marathon, I wish to fund raise for 3 NGOs through United Way Mumbai platform in the areas of disability, education and women empowerment in memory of my father, 1st generation graduate (CA) in the family. I am targeting to raise at least Rs.15,00,000. Every Re.1 contribution by you turns into Rs.3 for the NGO concerned with the matching contributions from me and from my organisation, Chiratae Ventures.
Please donate generously to these non-profits.

They have launched a new initiative to provide early intervention for 5000+ children in Tamilnadu by visiting their homes and training their families.
2. Srujna Charitable Trust in Mumbai helps create livelihood opportunities for the stifled women in low-income communities across India since 2011 by helping them create powerful, enterprising women that produce and sell hand made products. Their average income is Rs.6,000 per woman. Srujna's Maitree project engages women from low-income communities to make reusable, odour free, bacteria free sanitary napkins which can be washed in a glass of water. These napkins are designed and treated with patent technology and are distributed to rural and tribal women free of cost. Their plan to produce 50,000 kits to be distributed to 1,500+ women. Distributed 10,000+ kits in 2024. Super Didi: A 10-week leadership and mindset program that transforms grassroots women into confident community leaders and changemakers. 200+ Super Didis have been trained. They will train 500 women. Tech Training & Development: A digital upskilling initiative that equips women with tech tools to grow businesses, manage finances, and access job opportunities. Impact target: 2.5 lakh women.
3. Cerebral Palsy Association of India (CPAI) is a non-governmental organization established in 1968, dedicated to the empowerment, education, and rehabilitation of children, youth, and women from underprivileged and marginalized communities. With active centers in Mumbai, Vasai, Bhopal, and Lucknow, CPAI has been a driving force in promoting inclusion, independence, and sustainable development to 220+ beneficiaries.
For children and young adults with special needs, CPAI provides early intervention, therapy, school readiness training, inclusive education, vocational training, and job readiness programs. They also prepare students for mainstream schooling and support them in appearing for NIOS examinations, encouraging independent living and long-term growth.
In tribal and rural communities. Through Project Shikshan they support education of 50+ students of single parent families. Nutrition and health initiatives have been offered to tribal students in a PU college in Nashik district. CPAI provides pre-employment skills for tribal youth to enhance job placement opportunities. Other Initiatives include the Swanama Project, which promotes tailoring, cloth bag making, and production of reusable sanitary napkins (Saafkins). Training programs in digital and financial literacy, health awareness, livelihood development, and counseling empower women to become self-sufficient entrepreneurs. Through its integrated approach, CPAI bridges the gap between education, empowerment, and employment, striving to create an inclusive society where individuals of all abilities and backgrounds can thrive with dignity.
