I am Computer Engineer and MBA by education and worked in multinationals. My love towards technology and civic awareness got me associated to CMCA. I am passionately involved with CMCA for more than 8 years. I believe that change is best possible by educating the younger generation. From good civic sense to making them understand deeper concepts like equality, justice and social scientific temper, CMCA's education is truly changing the young. Seeing the difference in children's thinking & sensitising them to critical life skills has only reinforced my belief in the vision of CMCA.
Appeal
I am raising funds for CMCA that has been doing transformative work with children, this year being the milestone year of completing 2 decades now in Mumbai. Our weekly programmes in schools are preparing children with 21st Century Skills so that they have a better future. In rural India, they are thronging to Panchayat Libraries, where our Activity Cards are opening the world for children who have not seen anything beyond their village. Apart from Life Skills & Citizenship values, children are learning about Digital literacy, Financial literacy and in bringing about changes in their village. Everywhere, children have demonstrated a positive change in attitude towards civic sense, gender, environmental consciousness & in treating people fairly and with empathy. We are reaching about 170,000 children every year. There are over 300 million children in India who need this education for their own success and growth. I need your support to help CMCA reach out to them.
