My skin is kind of sort of brownish
Pinkish yellowish white.
My eyes are greyish blueish green,
But I'm told they look orange in the night.
My hair is reddish blondish brown,
But it's silver when it's wet.
And all the colors I am inside

Appeal

Children need books that make them laugh, dream and imagine a world they are not exposed to. Academic books rarely do any of these. UWM's Lett's Read campaign aims to change this and make children fall in love with reading for pleasure. Especially those children who do not have access to books of their own. This is done by distributing books children pick up according to their reading ability and language preference. Mini mobile library bags are set up in the communities to make books accessible. Children also get to be part of storytelling and assisted reading sessions. Imagine stories from the books you love coming alive and the magic they create!

I got exposed to books and reading in general very late in life. An avid reader now, I wish I had more books beyond academics during my student life. I would have been better for it. Please join me in ensuring children get access to books early in their lives and make a difference.
