About Me

I have been passionately involved with CMCA since last 18 years in creating young change makers. This has been possible due to the immense support from the organization in the form of strong leadership, structured curriculum and regular training. I have been able to draw inspiration from a dedicated group of like minded volunteers/civic tutors. I enjoy the fact that I am always working on improving myself too. It has been so heartening to see the positive influences on these young children when they come back week after week all excited to share their little acts of active citizenship.

Appeal

I am raising funds for CMCA that has been doing transformative work with children, for over 2 decades now. Our weekly programmes in schools are preparing children with 21st Century Skills so that they have a better future. In rural India, they are thronging to Panchayat Libraries, where our Activity Cards are opening the world for children who have not seen anything beyond their village. Apart from Life Skills & Citizenship values, children are learning about Digital literacy, Financial literacy and in bringing about changes in their village. Everywhere, children have demonstrated a positive change in attitude towards civic sense, gender, environmental consciousness & in treating people fairly and with empathy. We are reaching about 150,000 children every year. There are over 300 million children in India who need this education for their own success and growth. I need your support to help CMCA reach out to them.
