My name is Sheela Sankaran Iyer, residing in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. I am a Tourist guide and teacher by profession. I have been a volunteer for Isha Foundation since over 10 years and offer my time to the Isha Vidhya Rural Schools in their projects and outreach activities.

My connect with Isha Education began with Bhavadharini (student code SGP SGP0478/11 ]since her L.K.G. She is now in 2nd Std. in Coimbatore. Her father is a daily wage earner and each day without a job would lead to Bhavadharini leaving school. Today she is pursuing Fashion Designing.
