About Me
Apart from my professional life as a career banker and personally as a proponent of diversity, I am the chief patron at SOPAN since the last 17 years. It is with great pride that I share the good work done by SOPAN for autistic and differently abled children as well as young adults.
Appeal
12 years of participating in the Mumbai Marathon has been a journey of fitness and more importantly that of giving back to society through raising funds for the cause of SOPAN (Society of Parents of children with Autistic Disorders).
SOPAN is a NGO which educates and trains children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities from all walks of life. Their aim is to empower and enable them so that they are able to live an inclusive life in society with dignity.
Generosity of friends and colleagues has been astounding and year on year I have only seen the pool of support increase to contribute towards the various projects and activities that are managed at SOPAN.
