About Me

Myself Manoj Pradhan, a development worker by profession has been associated with many organizations in the last 30-years. I had the opportunity to be associated with REAP’s work during last 6 to 7 years and witnessing the incredible work being done by them. The Organization has completed 25 years of service to the children, youth and women with great dedication and commitment.
It received global recognition and many awards for rendering social services to the poor.
REAP was a pioneering organization to set up 100 platform schools in railway stations for the children in the year 2000 much before the Right to Education Act (RTE), 2009 was enacted.
REAP has always believed in innovation and quality services. After the New National Education Policy 2020 was formulated by Govt. of India which gave special emphasis on STEM Education, REAP started its R&D and designed special curriculum and learning programmes for children.
Today, REAP is highly appreciated for its STEM learning programmes for school children.

I am writing to you on behalf of Reach Education Action Programme (REAP), a non-profit dedicated to providing educational opportunities to underprivileged children, particularly girls from slums in Thane and Mumbai.
At REAP, we believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their socio-economic background. However, girls from slum communities often face significant barriers in pursuing their educational dreams due to financial constraints and societal norms.
Our mission is to empower these young girls through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) learning. By equipping them with these skills and knowledge, we aim to promote better career opportunities and a brighter future.
