About Me

I am Nagachandan HN, a dedicated Senior Program Manager with a deep passion for environmental conservation and sustainability. At the Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS), I contribute to impactful programs that inspire communities to connect with nature, embrace sustainable practices, and protect biodiversity for future generations.

With a firm belief that fostering coexistence between humans and wildlife is essential for conservation, I strive to create opportunities that empower communities, especially those living near wildlife reserves, to coexist peacefully with nature. Through the Wild Seve program, I aim to foster a culture of understanding and stewardship that bridges the gap between people and wildlife, ensuring a sustainable future for both.

Being part of CWS underscores my unwavering commitment to sustainable solutions that harmonize human well-being with wildlife conservation. The environment is not just a resource—it’s the foundation of our existence. If we don’t act now, who will? Let’s join hands to nurture a society that cherishes and preserves India’s remarkable natural heritage. Together, we can make a lasting difference!

Appeal

The Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS) is a 40-year-old organization dedicated to conserving India’s wildlife and wild places. Through research, education, and community programs, CWS strives to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts, protect biodiversity, and empower local communities and forest staff with essential resources and knowledge.

I am passionate about protecting India’s wildlife and biodiversity. CWS’s efforts in conservation, research, and community engagement align with my vision of a sustainable future where humans and wildlife coexist harmoniously.

The funds will support critical conservation programs, equip field teams with resources, and empower communities affected by human-wildlife conflict. These initiatives are crucial for sustaining biodiversity and promoting ecological balance.
