About Me

I am Sahil Pimpale, a passionate conservation educator and advocate for wildlife protection, dedicated to inspiring communities to reconnect with nature. As Program Manager for the 'Wild Shaale' program at the Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS), I lead efforts across the Western Ghats to spark curiosity, build empathy for wildlife, and empower communities to take action for the environment.

I strongly believe that education is the most powerful platform for conservation. Through Wild Shaale, we help students develop a deeper understanding of nature and a sense of responsibility toward its protection.

Supporting CWS reflects my unwavering commitment to sustainable solutions that benefit both people and wildlife. The environment is our life support system—and if we don’t protect it, who will? Join me in fostering a generation that values and safeguards India’s incredible natural heritage—together, we can create meaningful change!

Appeal

The Centre for Wildlife Studies (CWS) is a 40-year-old organization dedicated to conserving India’s wildlife and wild places. Through research, education, and community programs, CWS strives to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts, protect biodiversity, and empower local communities and forest staff with essential resources and knowledge.

I am passionate about protecting India’s wildlife and biodiversity. CWS’s efforts in conservation, research, and community engagement align with my vision of a sustainable future where humans and wildlife coexist harmoniously.

The funds will support critical conservation programs, equip field teams with resources, and empower communities affected by human-wildlife conflict. These initiatives are crucial for sustaining biodiversity and promoting ecological balance.
