About Me

Hi, I am Nirvair, my mom says I am a Young Athlete with a Heart of Gold.

I am a 13-year-old boy, who tries to exemplify the true essence of kindness, humility, and compassion. With a natural inclination toward sports, I would love to combine my passion for physical activity with a deep desire to make a positive impact on the world around me. I would like to be Known for my empathetic nature, I try and go beyond supporting my peers and I try to be encouraging to anyone in need. I naturally bend towards helping others which I think sets me apart, making me a beacon of hope and support in my community.

This year, I have set my sight on an extraordinary goal: running the Tata Mumbai Marathon. While many may view this as a mere athletic pursuit, for me, it represents something far greater. I am running not only to support the marathon’s causes but also to stand by underprivileged children and those bravely battling cancer. Determined to make a tangible difference, I views this marathon as an opportunity to raise funds and awareness, enabling those in need to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Taking on such a significant challenge at my age reflects my unwavering determination and selflessness. I am committed to making my first marathon an unforgettable experience, not just for myself, but for the countless lives I hope to touch. Through my hard work, dedication, and relentless spirit, I aim to inspire others to join me in creating a society where everyone has a chance to thrive. This remarkable journey is a testament to my character and a shining example of what it means to lead with empathy and purpose.

Did you know that if a child has cancer in a high income country, their chances of survival are 80%. But in India, it is 35%. But it doesn't have to be that way. Founded in 2004 by Poonam Bagai, herself a cancer survivor, CanKidsKidsCan - The National Society For Change For Childhood Cancer In India aims to change that.

CanKids partners with hospitals, medical professionals, and state governments to move India towards 100% access2care & higher survival rates for children with cancer. They enable best standards of treatment, care and support across 141 partner centers in 53 cities and 22 states of India. Catering to primarily underprivileged families, CanKids serves the underserved, ensuring avoidance of financial hardship.

CanKids increases survival rates by driving early detection, diagnosis & referral & partnering with the government and stakeholders to pioneer online support and care reaching remote corners of India.

Your donation goes towards medical treatment, blood work, nutrition, counseling, education of a child with cancer. Together we can bring light into dark and shine the way for more children with cancer to #surviveandthrive.
