Hello Everyone,

The three pictures below describes my journey.

The first one is of 2008 when we taught the children in their communities - their houses being demolished.

The second one is of our former Learning Center in 2017 where children got an opportunity of safe space to learn, to express and to excel.

The third one is our resilience - during Covid, we provided Tabs to all our children to continue the journey of learning and mental health.

The older students completed their studies, pursued their Masters, got jobs and now are living in rented apartments - breaking the intergenerational cycle of poverty.

This is power of education. And education is a process!

Appeal

Hi Everyone,

I've always wondered, if I had not received education; had not been given an opportunity to go to school, college, university, where would I be? What would life be like? Pursuing education wasn't even a challenge for me. It was given - that I'd be completing my Masters and becoming a professional so that I could lead a secured life.

I am sending this message only to my friends from school, college, institutions and other places where we connected because we studied, learned and grew together. Today, my organization Touching Lives is one such attempt to create a platform for those who really are challenged to pursue the path of education.

I want to support 300 children in 2025 - where they can go to school, continue coming to Touching Lives learning programs, seek supplementary education, complete their academics, get good jobs, and bring their families out of poverty.

I really intend that these children lead a very good quality of life and provide to their families and generation in better ways, like we all are striving to do every single day.

So, whatever you feel GIVE from your heart! I will be very very happy to have my friends be a part of this beautiful journey of Touching Lives.
