I’m excited to share that I’m participating in the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025, and this year, I’m running to raise funds for Teach For India, an organization dedicated to addressing the educational inequity that holds millions of children back.
Education is the cornerstone of an equitable society. However, the reality today is stark—more than 50% of Grade 5 students cannot read a simple Grade 2 text or solve basic math problems. The socio-economic circumstances a child is born into often determine their entire educational journey, leaving too many children behind.
Teach For India is determined to change this. Since 2009, they have been placing talented, passionate individuals in classrooms across India, ensuring that every child, regardless of their background, has access to an excellent education.
