About Me
With close to 30 years in the finance industry, I now lead Business Development and Partnerships for GetSetUp India, the fastest-growing community for active agers. Here, I work towards empowering older adults to not only stay active but thrive in all aspects of their health, well-being and creating an environment for finding & pursuing passions and purpose.
I’m also deeply committed to education and the role teachers play in shaping futures. Fitness has always been a cornerstone of my life, and running the Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM), formerly the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon (SCMM), has been a defining part of my journey since 2014. What started as a personal fitness challenge soon became a mission close to my heart, giving back to my teachers. A significant part of who I am today is thanks to the teachers who shaped my foundation. To that end, I believe in the cause for which CEQUE was founded: to ensure that teachers get the best tools to impart knowledge and deliver the best to their students, who can, in turn, impact the future of our world.
Now I run every year at the TMM to raise funds for these very teachers that CEQUE helps to train and motivate to deliver the best learning outcomes to their students. It’s my way of paying forward the lessons I received, ensuring that the next generation benefits from great teaching.

RUN FOR TEACHERS
Each of us has a teacher who has touched our lives. They have been our cheerleaders and helped us through difficult times. Sometimes they have been the reason for the person we are today.
What if you had a chance to contribute to creating such a teacher for an underprivileged child? One who helps her stay in school, attend regularly and learn well? One who is her best hope for breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty.
At CEQUE we educate children through investing in teachers. We partner with governments and provide long term support to government school teachers in Language and Math pedagogy through training, in-class coaching, learning material and planning inputs. We help teachers teach better, so that children learn. Today, we reach 2,700 teachers and 45,000 students across 3 states and 8 districts. Over their professional lifetimes, every teacher will reach over 1,000 children.
