About Me

Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal (SSM), established in 1959, is an organisation dedicated to the holistic development of rural communities. Our mission is to foster educated, prosperous, and sustainable communities through impactful interventions in Education, Skill & Livelihood, Agriculture, and Environmental Conservation.

Our deep-rooted commitment to preserving and enriching rural culture while driving progress in vital areas such as education and agriculture sets us apart. Our journey began with a small school nestled amidst a couple of huts. Today, our expansive campus spans 200 acres amidst the breathtaking Balaghat Hills and the serene Manjira River at Sagroli village, Dist. Nanded, at the crossroads of Maharashtra, Telangana, and Karnataka.

Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal (SSM), our approach to rural development is rooted in our commitment to holistic progress and preserving rural culture while driving meaningful change. We create educated, prosperous, and sustainable rural communities through impactful interventions in Education, Skill & Livelihood, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Management.

In education, we align with the NEP 2020, offering diverse subjects and holistic development opportunities. SSM’s educational institutions inspire students towards excellence, while our Udyamita Skill Development Centre addresses the skill gap for rural youth by providing need-based programs and emphasising soft workplace skills.

We actively engage in agricultural initiatives through the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), enhancing productivity, profitability, and sustainability. Additionally, we integrate natural resource management practices to address water scarcity, soil erosion, and ecological degradation. Our efforts have positively impacted thousands of families, resolving water scarcity and promoting livelihood generation.
