Having ran the marathon of reading lengthy court rulings or other technical documents released by OECD or UN and writing lengthy technical documents for most my life (radhakishanrawal.com) , I am now participating in a real marathon (Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025 – Half Marathon - 21KM). With this I also want to raise funds for a social cause of helping children fighting cancer and I am relying on you to generously contribute to this fund raising initiative and giving back to the society.

Running a marathon for children fighting cancer is more than just a race—it’s a powerful journey of compassion, resilience, and solidarity. Every kilometre represents a step closer to a world where no child or family has to face the devastation of cancer alone. For children enduring long hospital stays, painful treatments, and the uncertainty of what tomorrow may bring, my commitment to run is as a beacon of hope, a message that says, “I’m here with you, helping you through this difficult phase.”

Joining hands with CanKids KidsCan, I am not running or fundraising for myself but for countless children and families across India who rely on the strength of our community. CanKids KidsCan provides vital support, from emotional guidance to medical aid and financial relief. Each stride in the marathon, both in kilometres and funds, fuels CanKids KidsCan’s mission, enabling life-changing projects that offer a lifeline to families in need…it is a way to inspire those around you, to show that every bit of effort counts, and to help raise awareness that childhood cancer needs our collective attention. Our contribution is a reminder to every child battling this illness that they are strong, loved, and never alone.

This marathon is a challenge, but so is every day for children facing cancer. So, let’s join together towards a combined purpose, to help these children get the right kind of assistance to help them survive and thrive towards a future filled with hope.
