About Me

- Hello, I am Dhanashree Nilesh Mahakal. I live in Thane with my parents and 3 siblings. I love to sing and to read books.
- In 10th grade, I topped with 88% from TMC School supported by the DMart Foundation, and my teachers encouraged me further and helped me join USF. After completing all the procedures of the Udayan Shalini Fellowship Program, I serendipitously entered the beautiful family of our beloved USF Mumbai in 2022

- This is my 3rd year in USF and I must say that the time I spent with the USF team, Shalini's, and all the mentors and facilitators was pulchritudinous. In FYJC I was awarded as best student of the year from all the 6 divisions of FYJC. My score in 12th grade was 86.67%, Currently, I am a first-year student of Bachelor's in Accounting and Finance.

- Through USF I got the opportunity to enroll in English Bolo Online App which is an application to learn English and Speak confidently. Live classes of English bolo play a vital role in tackling communication barriers. One of the strongest supports I have received from USF is Mentoring. My mentor has been helping me and guiding me in my personal development, at times I get emotional support and stability from her. She is giving me the pathways for exposure to new opportunities. In short, my mentor is not just guiding me about education but also giving me holistic support, guiding me to become the best version of myself.

- It's my serendipity that I became a part of USF's Family. I'm really proud that we are the first batch of our beloved East Mumbai Chapter. USF is working hard to support the less privileged girls and make them confident to face the world ahead. We are fortunate to have a best friend like USF(Yes a best friend).

Appeal

I put forth my appeal as a Shalini of USF and on behalf of my Co-Shalinis.
- Despite our circumstances, we are determined to pursue our dreams and create a better future for ourselves.
- However, financial hardship has been a major barrier to accessing opportunities that would help us grow, learn, and achieve our goals. Whether it’s education, healthcare, or basic necessities, every day presents a struggle.
- I believe that with just a little help, we can overcome these obstacles and make a meaningful difference in our lives, as well as in the lives of others around us.
